Successful.” - That is how the Speaker of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament Daylin Mitchell described the partnership between the Western Cape and Bavaria during a meeting of Western Cape Parliamentarians and CSU members from the Bavarian State Parliament who are currently in South Africa.
The delegation is led by Thomas Huber, Chair of the Working Group on Social, Family and Labour Issues, and by Holger Dremel, Chair of the Working Group on Safety, Local Government and Sports.

Meetings with Western Cape Agriculture Minister Ivan Meyer, City of Cape Town Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis and Cape Town Archbishop Cardinal Brislin focused on joint initiatives to strengthen human security and local government structures and boost job creation.
