At a public event on the eve of the Munich Security Conference, which we co-hosted with the Federation of German Industries at the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Munich, we discussed the future of international cooperation with renowned speakers from 4 continents and a large audience.

“The future of international cooperation: Europe's partnerships with the global South” - that was the topic of a panel discussion we co-hosted at the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Munich just before the start of the Munich Security Conference., together with the Federation of German Industries (BDI).

Renowned speakers from India, Brazil, South Africa, and Germany shared crucial insights, followed by an engaging Question and Answer session that included the active audience as well.

Our Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung Chair Markus Ferber, MEP, referred to recent elections in African countries and India as examples and underlined: "Billions of people are striving for basic democratic norms, including most Europeans."
