A two-day exchange between law-enforcement, policymakers, practitioners and researchers on improving the policing of violent crime saw productive discussions in Cape Town.

The Annual Conference is valued by participants from different sectors for its evidence-based approach and its practice orientation alike. They appreciate it as an opportunity to share knowledge, to learn and discuss.

The conference is organised by our partner team in the Institute for Security Studies Pretoria, with Bavarian State Chancellery support. It is an outflow of the SA Evidence-Based Policing Working Group supported by the Hanns Seidel Foundation since its inception in 2019.
