This was one of the assertions by Police Minister Prof Firoz Cachalia in his wide-ranging remarks at the Conference. In his speech, the Minister emphasized the urgent need for reforms and cooperation of the institutions in the criminal justice system.
Minister Prof. Cachalia also expressed his appreciation for the work of the Justice and Violence Prevention Program in the Institute for Security Studies regarding Evidence-Based Policing and recommendations for police reform.
