At a debriefing workshop last week, the Evidence for Change Team from the South African Police Service,  the City of Cape Town and the Western Cape Government unpacked lessons learned from the first phase of a hotspot policing intervention.

During the intense, productive workshop in Cape Town, participants received their online-course certificates as well. 

One of the most important insights discussed in the interactive sessions: frontline officers are key! They need to understand what they have to do, and why to buy into the concept – clear communication and leadership are crucial!

Participants agreed: let’s take the learnings further with the next phase!
