Representatives from the National Prosecuting Authority of South Africa and the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (Hawks) and guests from Germany came together for an intensive 3-day exchange of experience and capacity building workshop on fighting complex corruption.

The workshop offered valuable opportunities to discuss mechanisms of cooperation between prosecutors and police in the fight against corruption on provincial level, in the Western Cape and Eastern Cape. It aimed to contribute to enhancing this important collaboration.
