The first 2022 group of municipal middle managers has successfully completed their on-the-job training as part of the Western Cape Department of Local Government / School of Public Leadership / Hanns Seidel Foundation Mentoring & Coaching Programme for Middle Managers.

Great course makes a difference in municipalities

The Mentoring and Coaching program has been running for a number of years, and it was further developed over time. Wih the completion of the course, participants praised its concept and implementation and emphasized its value for their work.

„The programme created an avenue where my current abilities could be identified, issues and concerns could be addressed and improvements could be considered.“ said Jill Lakay, Head: Council Committees and Councillor Support, Knysna Municipality, one of the managers who completed the course successfully.
