Khayelitsha Township: children going hungry

The fight against the pandemic will only be won if Africa is receiving and distributing vaccines for all its citizens. Germany contributes already 2.2 Billion Euro to the global COVAX initiative. We made a short video to explore some aspects of what the crisis means for South Africa, Africa and international cooperation.

We hear from a young woman heading a community centre in Khayelitsha, one of South Africa's biggest townships, working with important Early Childhood Development initiatives as well. And we emphasize that it is crucial to ensure everyone can get vaccinated, everywhere.
