The train-the-trainer workshops also included the practical implementation of the YES SA! violence prevention training in two pilot schools in Cape Town and Gauteng by the newly trained trainers. The YES SA! Training Manual was developed based on the Bavarian violence prevention module, adapted to the specific South African context. It is the result of an extensive consultation process with relevant South African stakeholders. Over the next year, the training will be delivered regularly in selected model schools in the two Bavarian partner provinces of Gauteng and the Western Cape.
