Co-hosted by the Western Cape Government and the Stellenbosch University School for Public Leadership, 2-day trainings on Consequence Management were held with Councillors from different parties.

Two courses were held in Worcester and in George in the Western Cape, with a third one to follow in August. Facilitated by experienced practitioners, the interactive sessions share relevant content and offer opportunities to discuss practical questions related to councillors' work. 

The Hanns Seidel Foundation has been supporting the courses for several years, with funding from the Bavarian State Chancellery.
