A successful event in Cape Town shared insights from a recent hotspot policing project with community members. Interested participants actively discussed the experience gained in the collaborative local project.

"Africa’s Long-Term Energy Future and Implications for Carbon Emissions" - that was the topic of a roundtable at our HSF Brussels Office, with inputs by Dr Jakkie Cilliers, Institute for Security Studies Pretoria, and HSF Chairperson Markus Ferber, MEP.

“How can the Government of National Unity deliver?” That was the topic of a seminar launching the much anticipated new African Futures & Innovation country report on South Africa. The long-term forecast recommends policy interventions for key sectors of society and outlines their potential to facilitate inclusive growth and jobs, and to reduce poverty.

A productive workshop with diverse stakeholders reflected on hotspot policing in Cape Town, discussing experience gained and conclusions to be drawn for future work.
