At our 2-day refresher workshop, Cape Town School Resource Officers were gearing up for the School Safety Training they'll facilitate soon.

The training has taken place in several selected priority schools in 2025 already. It will now be carried out with grade 8 learners in nine of Cape Town’s priority schools this year. The 2-day interactive course is full of practical exercises, role plays, and group work.

The tailored training program has been developed in a partnership between the Western Cape Department of Education and the City of Cape Town, supported by the HSF, with funding from the Bavarian State Chancellery.
